Hardware Setup

Elementory OS on AMD Ryzen

ElemOS amd

I am a fan of Unix-based systems and my favorite distro is elementary OS. It is simple and elegant. More importantly kernal is based of ubuntu. My elementaryOS setup is powered by good old Ryzen 3500 on my Matebook. Configurations related to linux running on Matebook can be found from here.

macOS on ARM M1

arm homebrew docker

Recently, I wanted to check out all the rumors about MacBooks with M1 processors by myself. Due to curiosity, I disassembled an M1 macbook air completely. Apple engineers have done an amazing job of completely redesigning the macbook air with a fanless design. Very simple design, yet powerful. More importantly, with all the simulations, synthesizing, and compiling stuff, still, the battery lasts for days! I have already performed the thermal modification which improves the performance around by 8%. I use Docker and Home Brew for all of my Linux requirements on macOS. Currently, I use this setup as my daily driver.
